As long as I commanded the Osprey myself I couldn't accomplish the mission. During that time I used the Osprey as flagship and got it escorted by the Mule. Especially one pirate hunt down mission I kept failing and got all my ships destroyed all the time.
I might be new to this game but its spirit caught me right away!
